I hope you had a good start and I wish you all the best for 2014.
To give a little contribution from my side to this, I would like to ask you as follows:
Do you still miss one of the five calculators that are indicated on the first screen after starting the app? Means, is one or more of the buttons on the first screen inactive / greyed out?
If so, it is very likely that you do not use the most recent version of Finance2C and therefore would lack of some functionality that might be helpful for you.
Why am I telling you this?
Recently I stumbled upon the following message in Google Play's Developer Console: "Some Devices will not receive upgrades."
To receive future updates of Finance2C, please make sure that you use the most recent version of Finance2C that is published on Google Play. Currently this is release 7 / version 0.51, published on Oct. 3rd, 2013. In Google Play you would see the following information:
For comparison: the release 2 (in the screenshot with the message stated as "version 2") was published as version 0.2 back in Nov. 11th, 2012. In this old version only two of five calculators worked already.
If you do lack of one or more of the five calculators please remove the app from your device and re-install it via Google Play.
And maybe also set the check mark for automatic updates for the app. Only then you can be sure to receive the latest versions automatically. (Sorry for the german only screenshot about this point at the right, but I guess this is self-explanatory even to non-German-readers)Ah, and by the way: no need to get nervous about security issues. Currently, F2C does not require that much device authorizations if any. And even if I would need to implement something in the future that requires additional access, you will be notified about this before the update takes place via Google Play. Additionally, I would explain this issue then here in this blog.
So make sure to update Finance2C if necessary... and make sure to re-visit this blog regularly to receive the latest information about Finance2C.

Von meiner Seite aus möchte ich einen kleinen Beitrag zu einem gelungenen Jahr leisten, möchte ich Ihnen eine Frage stellen:
Vermissen sie einen oder mehrere der fünf verfügbaren Finanzrechner in Finance2C?
Oder genauer: Ist einer oder mehrere der fünf Buttons auf der Startseite von Finance2C inaktiv / ausgegraut?
Wenn ja, ist es sehr wahrscheinlich, dass Sie nicht die neuste Version von Finance2C benutzen und deswegen Funktionalität nicht nutzen können, die eventuell hilfreich für Sie wäre.
Warum schreibe ich das hier?

Und eventuell setzen Sie auch das Kennzeichen für automatische Updates. Nur so können Sie sicher sein, dass Sie automatisch immer die neusten Versionen erhalten.Und nebenbei: es gibt dabei keinen Grund wegen Sicherheitsaspekten nervös zu werden. Derzeit benötigt F2C so gut wie keine speziellen Geräteberechtigungen. Und selbst wenn ich zukünftig etwas entwickeln würde, was zusätzliche Zugriffe benötigen würde, werden Sie auf jeden Fall vor einem eventuellen Update via Google Play informiert. Zusätzlich würde ich das jeweilige Thema hier im Blog vorab erklären.
Daher, bitte aktualisieren Sie Finance2C falls notwendig ... und kommen Sie gerne regelmäßig hier im Blog vorbei, um die neuesten Infos zu Finance2C zu erfahren.
